Safe Space
As a human factors system engineer, Celena Dopart ’12 anticipates how humans will interact with the technical marvels in a spaceship’s cabin. She conducts risk assessments and predicts decision-making processes in the hopes of eliminating potential human error, analyzes ergonomics to optimize cabin comfort, and conducts user trainings to run through all manner of scenarios.
