Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) will host the Massachusetts FIRST LEGO League Championship on Saturday, December 14, 2024. This exciting event, which is free and open to the public, will feature 72 teams from across Massachusetts and Jamaica, all competing for a chance to showcase their skills in robotics, teamwork, and innovation, and a bid to the FLL World Festival and Open Tournaments
The FIRST LEGO League competition challenges students ages 9 to 16 to solve real-world problems by building and programming robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS technology. Throughout the event, participants will demonstrate their creativity, technical skills, and collaborative spirit in a series of thrilling challenges. The event is an excellent opportunity for families, educators, and future engineers to witness the power of STEM education and robotics.
