Academic Development

Office of Academic Advising

The Office of Academic Advising works with WPI students to help them develop meaningful educational plans that are compatible with their life goals.

Alongside the WPI Plan, the Office of Academic Advising provides academic faculty advisors who help their advisees design a program of study, which reflects the students’ interests and professional goals.

ALANA Support Network

The ALANA (African-American, Latino/Hispanic, Asian, and Native American) Support Network consists of a network of administrators from WPI, Anna Maria CollegeAssumption CollegeClark UniversityCollege of the Holy Cross, and Worcester State University that focuses on community and inclusion.

Network members share information and resources to support each other and their students. They provide a foundation for a stronger connection between all students and especially the ALANA students in the Worcester Consortium of Colleges and Universities so they may meet each other and develop genuine, supportive relationships with each other.
