AIDS Project Worcester, Inc. (APW) is the primary and most comprehensive AIDS Service Organization (ASO) in Central Massachusetts. Safe Homes
Safe Homes is a program supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) young people, and their straight allies, between the ages of 14 and 23. We offer three weekly drop-ins, (Tuesday 6:00-8:00 pm ET at Fitchburg State University, Wednesday 6:30-8:30 pm ET via Discord, and Thursday 5:30–8:30 pm ET in Worcester); a Trans Resource Center where people can access gender affirming products (binders, bras, gaffs, breast forms, etc.) as well as clothing and make-up; food & hygiene pantries; and behavioral health counseling (based on availability). We also provide support for homeless youth, as well as trainings for the community.
All of our services are provided for free and can be accessed during drop-in hours, or by appointment.
