Drs. Sara Saberi & Joseph Sarkis Awarded APICS Grant

The Foisie Business School is happy to announce that Drs. Sara Saberi, Assistant Professor, Operations Management and Industrial Engineering (OIE) and Joseph Sarkis, Professor, OIE have been awarded a grant from APICS, the premier professional association for supply chain management.  APICS (www.apics.org) is focused on “fostering the advancement of end-to-end supply chain management through a body of knowledge, innovative research, systems, and methods to create value for customers, members, and organizations.”  The grant will support research for the first year of what may ultimately be a three-year project on “Blockchain Technology's Contributions to Supply Chain Business and Sustainability Value.”
