Department(s):
Academic Technology CenterThe Academic Technology Center's August training schedule is live. We have a variety of sessions available to get you familiarized with the new Canvas LMS as well as other instructional technology tools. Please visit our Workshops page to register for a training! Here's some ways that the ATC-TTL team can help you get ready for the Fall term :)
As of this past E-Term, we are now 100% in Canvas. Thank you for your patience during the year long transition! Please feel free to reach out with any feedback to canvashelp@wpi.edu.
> Please use our form for all Canvas requests:

Blank course sites are generated in Canvas automatically, so you only need this form if you need to:
· reuse content from a previous term
· merge multiple sites into one site
· add Staff (e.g. a TA) to your course site
· create a new organization site
> Classroom Engagement - Polling Options:
1. Clickers: Physical Clickers that students check out for the term, used for quizzes and tests.
2. Poll Everywhere: Web based polling where students use their phone, tablets, and laptops to answer questions, used for lecture engagement.
Interested? Please use the Polling Request form - For more info, contact Jess Baer: jlbaer@wpi.edu

> Are you interested in having your course recorded with Echo360 lecture capture technology?
If you are interested in recording your lectures, either from a WPI classroom or using your own computer, please fill out the request form here: http://www.wpi.edu/+echorequest
Lecture capturing allows you to record camera video, graphics display (such as powerpoint) and your voice so that you can share it with your students. You can find out more information about lecture capturing here: http://wp.wpi.edu/edmedia/2017/08/03/lecture-capturing-getting-started/
Another way of sharing videos with students is through WPI's online video platform, Ensemble.
Contact Sophie Jagannathan at sburke@wpi.edu for more information about Ensemble or lecture capturing with Echo360.
