Annual Renewal
All recognized student clubs and organizations must have the following forms on file within the Student Activities Office (SAO) in order to be renewed each year.
- A current constitution for the club or organization, or its local bylaws in the case of national organizations, which include revision and/or review dates and minimum review on an annual basis
- A completed Anti-Hazing Policy Form (PDF)
- An accurate list of club officers and the name of the advisor, updated in myWPI
- Any other requirements as imposed by the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Athletics; the WPI Fraternity/Sorority community; and the regional or national club or organization
Restarting a Club or Organization
Clubs or organizations need to keep an updated profile in TechSync and a hard copy of the Anti-Hazing Policy Form (PDF) on file with the SAO. If a club or organization has not updated its profile in TechSync in more than three years, it will need to submit a new application for recognition and go before the Student Organization Council (SOC) to become a recognized club or organization again. If a club or organization must schedule to return to campus after being suspended, organizational members or affiliates may schedule these meetings as necessary with the chair of the SOC.
