Mayo Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship

The Mayo Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program, sponsored by Mayo Graduate School, enables fellows to build skills as a young scientist or test inclinations toward research. Each year, 60-70 undergraduate students from around the United States come to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., to work beside both young and established scientists on a broad range of biomedical research questions. Up to ten fellowships also are available at Mayo's campuses in Scottsdale, Ariz. and Jacksonville, Fla.
