Contact Your Student
There are several options for contacting your child. Each student has their own secure postal box in the Rubin Campus Center and will be assigned a WPI email address.
Mailbox
A mailbox will be assigned to all new WPI students upon registration and are used during their four years at WPI. Incoming students will need to log onto the Web Information System to get their mailbox numbers and combinations at the Registrar's Office website. They should then click on Web Information System, type in their WPI ID and pin number, and click on the student services and financial aid button. From this location, they will be able to obtain their campus mailbox information.
For any difficulties associated with accessing campus mailboxes, students should go to Mail Services in the lower level of the Rubin Campus Center and speak to a staff member to be assigned a mailbox.

Email is the primary mode of communication for the WPI campus. Each student will have a WPI email account that serves as their primary institutional account. The format for these accounts is username@wpi.edu. There is no specified format for username, so students may elect their own configuration for this mode of communication.
