The new employee’s initial days and weeks are filled with new information and many questions. We offer New Employee Benefits Orientation every other Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a technology orientation session (except if a Monday falls on a holiday, then sessions will be scheduled the next business day).
For new academic year faculty, New Faculty Orientation is a week-long program providing new faculty with information about WPI, resources for teaching, resources for research, logistical information on benefits and IT, and helpful advice from students and colleagues. The typical schedule includes five half-days of programming. Exact days and times are announced in June each year. you can view a sample agenda for New Faculty Orientation.
You will also find useful information and resources you need to get started during your first few weeks when you visit My Onboarding portal from your Workday homepage. You will have an opportunity to learn more about WPI and what to complete for your onboarding.
