Employee Relations/Talent Strategies
Talent Strategy Partners at WPI function as trusted collaborators and thought partners focused on our core values, supporting employees and managers, empowering the strategic plan of the institution, and ensuring Talent & Inclusion policies and practices build a positive, diverse, and engaging workforce culture.
The Talent Strategy Partners (TSPs) serve as the primary contacts between departments/divisions and other subject matter experts within Talent & Inclusion. The TSPs are assigned departments/divisions to become familiar with the operations and issues in the areas they support. By building strong relationships with their departments/divisions, TSPs will assess how various initiatives may provide better advocation for employees and leaders.
TSPs provide partnership and counsel in areas such as:
- Development, interpretation and administration of University policies and procedures
- Consulting with managers on performance management that may relate to job performance, improvement plans and further disciplinary action
- Counseling employees to address any work-related concerns
- Organizational/employee development
- Workforce and succession planning
- Learning and development opportunities
