WPI EMS
For medical assistance contact WPI Police emergency line: (508)-831-5555
For off-campus emergencies, dial 911.
Be advised 911 calls go directly to Massachusetts State Police in Framingham, who then contacts Worcester Police, who may reach out to WPI Police as needed.
Worcester Polytechnic Institute EMS (WPI EMS) has been proudly serving WPI since 1975. We are a student-run organization that operates on an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) level and provides emergency care for on-campus emergencies and events 24/7 in conjunction with WPI Police. We serve the community in cases of medical emergency to coordinate communication, treatment, and transport of patients, helping to reserve WPI Police resources for safety and operations needs.
We have nearly 30 active members who are all Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certified.
We strive to build a strong WPI community and provide training opportunities and support for students pursuing a medical field.
