Working with campus and community partners, the strategic communications and marketing team drives engagement with external audiences and builds community with internal audiences using high-impact marketing approaches and effective communications solutions. Strategic communications distinguishes WPI’s culture and its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in a clear, compelling, and consistent manner. The team works to enhance the student and employee experience while increasing retention through these inclusive practices:
- Implements clear, audience-first internal communications with students, faculty, and staff
- Nurtures external partnerships and government relations
- Provides on-target messaging and content for amplification of specific, high-level university initiatives including WPI’s research enterprises, Project-Based Learning, technology commercialization and innovation, and artificial intelligence
