Government & Community Relations

WPI is committed to meaningful engagement with governmental partners and community stakeholders. The Office of Government and Community Relations is the primary liaison between the university and federal, state, and local government as well as community partners. We provide strategic counsel to our WPI colleagues on governmental issues, keep public officials abreast of important WPI developments, and advocate with them regarding WPI’s priorities. In addition, our office facilitates community partnerships, addresses inquiries from community members, and strengthens relationships with neighbors, non-profit organizations, schools, civic organizations, and businesses.

Local Impact

WPI is proud of the profound and meaningful impact it has on the City of Worcester and beyond. Through efforts that advance our local and regional economy and partnerships with our public schools, civic groups, and non-profit organizations, we are truly making a difference in every sector of our community.
