Kate Beverage
Associate CIO, Academic Technologies, Information Technology Services

Kate is the Associate CIO for Academic Technologies. She provides leadership to the Academic Technology Center (ATC) in the delivery of technologies used to support teaching and learning in face-to-face, online and hybrid courses as well as event related AV and multimedia support across campus. Kate also oversees the Instructional Design team who collaborate with the Morgan Teaching & Learning Center on faculty training in current pedagogical practices. She holds a BA from the University of Connecticut and a Master's degree from Boise State University.

Alex assists with AV equipment reservations for academic use by students, faculty, and staff. He also provides oversight of ATC equipment inventory and assists with setting up and operating AV equipment at various locations on campus to support university initiatives.

Dave Taranto

Dave manages service and support for the university's campus-wide AV infrastructure, end-user AV systems and other related technology applications in support of classroom activities and campus events. He also works closely with faculty and other appropriate IT staff to provide the best solutions for the daily services that the ATC delivers.

Lindsey Van Gieson

Lindsey provides strategic leadership on the effective and innovative use of technology for teaching and learning to meet the growing on-campus, online, and hybrid learning initiatives of the WPI community. She leads the ATC Technology for Teaching and Learning staff in designing, developing, and assessing instructional technology support services. She represents IT in strategic planning efforts related to student success and teaching and learning and oversees related faculty development training initiatives. Lindsey holds a BA from Penn State University, and a MA from Tufts University.
