With about 50 active members, Tech Old Timers is a group of retired alumni, faculty, staff, and spouses who come together on a Wednesday morning each month during the school year, and whose programs often feature speakers on a variety of topics. This month’s program will include a performance and sing-along by the WPI Glee Club (including both students and alumni).
“Our goal is to keep in touch with WPI, socialize with each other, meet new friends, and learn and receive updates about WPI and other interesting subjects,” explains Neil Norum, TOT current president.
Norum encourages all who retire from WPI to join Tech Old Timers, which was founded in 1958 as a way to put practice into the theory of stewardship and alumni engagement.
