What’s Wellness Day without letting out energy with some good ol’ line dancing? The last Wellness Day of the academic year provided plenty of chances to unwind and have some fun before the end-of-the-year crunch.

The Department of Fire Protection Engineering staged controlled burns in their labs to highlight the effectiveness of sprinklers and the need for fire safety awareness.

The Inspiring Women event celebrated women in STEM with a panel discussion moderated by President Grace Wang followed by a networking reception. Sponsored by the Women’s Impact Network, the Women of WPI, and the Alumni Association, the event recognized achievements in the field and a passion for STEM.

On a campus committed to lifelong learning, a trip to gain new knowledge is a popular option. The Staff Council hosted a tour of the Worcester Art Museum for folks interested in learning more about all the treasures housed just down the road.

The eyes are a window to all sorts of things—including your shopping habits and the patterns used in processing digital information. The User Experience and Decision Making Lab offers a glimpse of its eye-tracking research and technology at its new lab space in Washburn Shops.

The National Association of Basketball Coaches’ District 2 Coach of the Year and WPI men’s basketball coach Chris Bartley gave his team props after their hard work earned them a 79–71 win over Ithaca College in the second round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, securing their spot in the NCAA Sweet 16.
