Experts on simulation

In science and engineering, simulation is a valuable tool that can be used to explore how a technology or system works, how it might respond under various conditions, and how it might change or evolve over time. Simulations are extensions of mathematical modeling, which uses equations and algorithms to represent the behavior of real objects and systems. Among other topics, WPI experts on simulation have used this tool to simulate robotic systems, to simulate the brain’s response to concussion, and to simulate human cell division.
