In 21 books and 150 articles, Professor Gottlieb has focused on the connection between the social and historical conditions under which we live and our moral and spiritual values, while shedding light on humanity’s past, current and future relationship with the environment. Gottlieb has distinct perspectives on global climate change, which he believes is part of an encompassing environmental disaster that includes staggering pollution and biodiversity loss.
