Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Civil and Environmental Engineering PhD candidate Marco Kaltofen was featured in a front-page article in the June 22, 2010 (Worcester) Telegram & Gazette about local people helping in the Gulf Coast oil spill cleanup effort.
