This daylong event for girls in grades 4 to 8 will be held on Saturday October 19 from 8:30am-5pm and features a day full of interactive workshops, hands-on exhibits, crazy inventions and dynamic demonstrations. Students will have plenty of opportunities to explore and experience science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). They’ll have a chance to meet and talk to extraordinary women in fields spanning environmental sciences and robotics to astrophysics and astronomy. A tour of WPI is included and as well as lunch in the college dining hall for a taste of college life. The Girl Scouts hope to empower girls to change, create, collaborate and contribute.
