President Grace Wang, along with Dean Debora Jackson, will welcome the WPI community to the start of WPI's second Business Week!

After opening remarks, WPI faculty, Professor's Bengisu Tulu, Kwamie Dunbar, ZQ Cheng and moderator Xin Shane Gao, will engage in a discussion on "The future of AI and business." You won't want to miss this glimpse into what we can anticipate with AI impacting how we all do business in the future.

Some of you might remember this amazing article about a student IQP group that researched the history of business education at WPI. Brilliant Business School students Mehmet Seyda Usalan '25, Victoria Grasso '25 and Aiden Callahan '25, under the guidance of Dean Debora Jackson, did a thorough deep dive into our history. Business education has been a part of WPI's fabric since the beginning and through their efforts we are now able to show that story through a recently installed feature wall on the second floor of Washburn Shops near The Business School.

Join us on the 2nd floor of Wasburn, see the feature wall, and talk to the student group that made this all possible.

WPI Business School students are going to have an up-close and personal look at Polar Beverages. They will learn from Polar leadership about the history of the company and how they've evolved to keep up with a changing market, how they've maintained market share in a very competitive space, and how they manage their supply chain. Students will then tour the facility to see how the magic happens.

Howard Foundation's mission is to diversify entertainment spaces by supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds get a foot in the door.

About this opportunity:
Applications are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have a minimum 2.8 gpa and are either permanent residents, US citizens, or DACA students. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis rather than post-deadline. There are remote, in-person, and hybrid opportunities across the United States.

 The T. Howard Foundation Internship Program is a national leader in providing access to internship and career development opportunities to underrepresented college talent interested in working at media and entertainment, tech, and consulting companies. Open to all majors, the foundation offers 2 Internship Program Tracks; Core and Diversity T.E.C.H.. The Internship Programs consist of 5 Career Pathways.
