WPI Business School Business Week

Monday, November 11, 2024 to Friday, November 15, 2024
10:00 am to 3:00 pm

“Business Week” is the premier annual event hosted by the WPI Business School. Hundreds of faculty, alumni, and friends take part in a week of events including classroom speakers, moderated panels, and a job and networking fair all designed to connect the classroom to the business world.

The sessions are aimed at educating our whole current WPI student population on the importance of having STEM business skills. Alumni and friends of WPI are invited to attend events of interest. Socials and the job and networking fair are designed to encourage networking between young to mid-career alumni with current undergraduate and graduate Business School students.

Only 13% of WPI undergrads ever take business classes, but 84% begin careers in for-profits after graduation. Business Week is an opportunity for alumni and friends that have found success at the intersection of business and STEM to return to campus and illustrate how important business skills have been at every stage of their careers. It reaffirms for Business School students their choice to be in a Business School program and encourages non-Business students to consider enrolling in STEM business courses.
