Staff Climate Survey Information Session I

Colleagues,
On October 30th, WPI will launch a Workplace Climate Survey for Staff. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback on your experiences as an employee at WPI, including your perceptions of the workplace culture, communication, management, professional development opportunities, inclusivity, and more. This anonymous online survey will help inform our institutional priorities and allow us to make meaningful improvements to create a more positive and productive workplace for all WPI staff.
The survey will be administered by ModernThink, a highly respected firm that specializes in university employee engagement research. ModernThink has worked with more than 1,000 universities to help them develop benchmarks and best practices through customized surveys of their communities. A Survey Planning Group consisting of staff from across the campus worked with ModernThink to include questions specific to the WPI community.
The survey will be open from October 30 through November 13 and will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. You will receive a username and unique password via email from ModernThink on October 30. ModernThink’s Help Desk will be available to answer any questions you may have, or to help if you have trouble accessing the survey; details will be in the survey link.

In addition, the Survey Planning Committee and Talent & Inclusion have partnered to offer three Informational Sessions. In these sessions, employees will be able to learn more about the survey, how they can participate, and we will answer any potential questions employees may have. The sessions will be offered on the following dates:
- October 24, 2023, Hagglund Conference Room, 2:00 p.m.
- November 1, 2023, Zoom, 11:00 a.m. (See event details and register here.)

Please note that your participation in this survey is completely voluntary and confidential. All responses will be anonymous; the information provided in this survey cannot be traced back to individuals and WPI will not have access to the survey responses. We encourage you to be candid in your feedback to allow us to truly understand the employee experience.
