Title: Graph Crafting – structural graph theory approaches in logic, probability, and algebra
Abstract: Everyone has a hobby. You may enjoy carpentry, pottery, or quilting. I’m a knitter and crocheter, and I also create with graphs! In this talk I’ll give several different definitions of “graph crafting” that are relevant to several different settings. In particular, I’ll describe recent work constructing square roots of graphs relevant to Sidorenko’s conjecture, as well as earlier work on graph gluing and cutting related to zero-one laws, and even earlier work on graph addition related to expected values.
