WPI community picks books to read during Latinx Heritage Month
Department(s):
George C. Gordon LibraryGordon Library has partnered with the Office of Multicultural Affairs this Latinx Heritage Month, inviting WPI community members to recommend reading related to Latinx cultures and issues. A different book will be featured each week all month. Professor Aarti Madan Smith chose our first week's book, Lost Children Archive (2018). For week 2, we are pleased to share a book chosen by Rame Hanna, Director of Diversity & Inclusive Excellence at WPI. Rame chose Inventing Latinos: A New Story of American Racism, published in 2020 and available to read online through the Gordon Library. Read more about both books and explore Latinx Heritage, research, and more in our online guide.
