Update on Provost Search, Schedule for Open Sessions

Dear WPI community,

 

We are writing to share an update on the internal search for Senior Vice President and Provost launched in May of this year.   As a reminder, the SVP and Provost serves a critical role as the University’s chief academic officer, with responsibilities for academic and research programs and the associated curricular, human, financial, and physical resources, while promoting WPI’s continuing improvement in quality, relevance, and stature.  The SVP and Provost provides leadership excellence to inspire, collaborate, and negotiate with the diverse constituencies that make up the University to achieve WPI’s mission and common goals. 

 

We are pleased to announce two candidates for the position of Senior Vice President and Provost, Dr. Winston (Wole) Soboyejo and Dr. Glenn Gaudette.

 

Open sessions, to include a short presentation and a question and answer session, are scheduled as follows:

·        Dr. Soboyejo, Wednesday, September 4, 3-4:15pm in Fuller Labs, Upper Perreault Hall

·        Dr. Gaudette, Friday, September 6, 3-4:15 pm in Olin Hall 107
