The trial includes the World Cinema Collection, the Master Career & Tech Ed Collection, Feature Films for Education, the Archival Films & Newsreels Collection, and the Master Academic Collection.

- Unlimited Access 24/7 - the On Demand platform gives students & faculty instant access to outstanding documentaries, award-winning educational films, independent films, and helpful instructional videos anytime they choose.
- Searchable Transcripts - All of the streaming videos have captioning and searchable, interactive transcripts, and the On Demand platform also features full language support through Google Translate.
- Translations - All descriptions, transcripts, and navigation can easily be translated into any of 100 world languages—from Afrikaans to Zulu, from Finnish to French—making the videos accessible to users no matter their desired language.
- Embeddable - Films On Demand provides authenticated URLs and HTML embed codes that allow direct access and playback of videos from Canvas.
