All Staff Meeting #1

Thank you to everyone who attended our first All Staff Meeting, either in person or via Zoom! We had over 330 staff members join, making it a fantastic turnout. During the meeting, Staff Council shared updates on recent initiatives, including the strategic plan, adjustments in summer hours and operating hours, and staff involvement across campus. Presentations from Talent & Inclusion and the Center for Well-being, highlighted valuable resources and ongoing projects.  We also had a 45 minute Q&A session with some great participation from staff Watch the meeting recording here.

Join Us for Harvest of Thanks!

Mark your calendars for our next event, Harvest of Thanks, on Monday, November 25th, from 2:00 - 3:30 PM in the Odeum.  This event is our way of expressing our gratitude to our valued staff members and fostering connections among us. Order and pick up your pies from Chartwells at this event as well! You can look forward to enjoying refreshments, exciting raffle prizes, and engaging activities!  Find out more on our event page. 

We’re excited to make this event more meaningful with a new charitable initiative! We’ve heard from many staff that they'd love more opportunities to give back, so at Harvest of Thanks, we'll be collecting non-perishable goods, pantry staples, produce, and packaged perishable items. You will receive extra raffle entries for items you bring! Donations will go to Mutual Aid Worcester's Woo Fridge program and our on-campus food pantry.

On Wednesday, November 27th, you may also volunteer time to help organize and deliver donations, in place of the scheduled half-day (please check with your manager for approval). If you’re interested in volunteering, please sign up here.

Save the Date: Next All Staff Meeting

Our next All Staff Meeting will be on December 16th at 9:00 AM in Olin 107. Light refreshments will be provided, and a Zoom option will be available for those who can’t attend in person.
