Dear All,

We received nearly 80 applications for the WPI Graduate Student Travel fund, from MS and PhD students across all departments.  We are pleased to be able to offer a total of $40,000 to support travel for our students to professional conferences. These presentations benefit the entire WPI community as students will be able to share their latest research achievements with national and international groups of peers, contributing to our visibility and enhancing our reputation.

We thank all of the students who applied, and all of the faculty who wrote supporting letters for their applications.

Special thanks also go to the selection committee members, Michael McGrade, David Ortendahl and Rory Flinn.  It was a difficult task to select from all the meritorious applications.
