First there was a blog, then a book Shakespeare Not Stirred, Cocktails for Your Everyday Dreams, now Prof. Michelle Ephraim, Humanities and Arts, is sharing her love for The Bard on a new podcast. Everyday Shakespeare is co-hosted by Ephraim and Caroline Bicks, the Stephen E. King Chair in Literature at the University of Maine. The six-episode series revisits Shakespeare’s writings and his era while comparing them with modern day problems. For example, surviving a pandemic, a dysfunctional family gathering, and the inevitability of aging. The hosts claim “you’ll feel a little bit better when Bard meets life.”
