Elke Rundensteiner, Ph.D., Data Science Program Director and Computer Science Professor, is the recipient of a coveted grant from the MIT Lincoln Laboratory for her proposal, "Big Data Analytics for USTRANSCOM."
The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) utilizes air, land, and sea resources to transport passengers and cargo around the globe. Under this grant, Professor Rundensteiner will analyze big data in the form of previous transportation logs, and other sources related to USTRANSCOM. The goal is to predict future processes, facilitate scheduling and /or avoid delays and mission fail
