Class of 2024 Earle Bridge Crossing August 30, 2020

The Student Alumni Society has found a way to keep alive the traditional Earle Bridge Crossing for incoming first-year students: The Class of 2024 will be celebrated and welcomed as the newest members of the WPI community on Sunday, August 30, 2020, in a socially distanced crossing. The event will begin at noon and could stretch past 6 pm, with the 1,300 students queued up at appropriate distances for the march around campus and across the bridge. Students will receive pre-packaged beanies and the WPI Tech Bible.

Due to space restrictions, we are unable to invite faculty, staff, or other community spectators, but the event will be streamed live on the SAS Facebook page. If you know a member of the Class of 2024 and want to cheer for them virtually, please ask them what time their Insight Team will be crossing, as that is how the event will be structured this year.
