CDC Employer Newsletter - January 2021
Department(s):
Recruit TalentDear Employer Partner,
The WPI Career Development Center hopes you enjoyed time off during the recent holidays, took the break you deserved, and are now ready for the spring recruiting season.
The February Spring Virtual Career Fair Series is open for employer registration. This series is a wonderful opportunity to engage with our students, identify candidates for any opportunities, and to continue to build your brand on the WPI campus. For those employers who have registered to attend, we will be holding virtual training sessions to detail how best to maximize the Brazen platform during our fair.
Our Educational Programs, taking place throughout the term, are still open for volunteers from industry to help our students on a range of career related topics. More information on the Career Fair Series, the Virtual Training Session, and the Educational Programs can be found further in this newsletter.
Finally, President Leshin recently announced some adjustments to the start of C-term, which will now begin on January 28th. To read her complete message, follow this link to the Office of the President.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to the Employer Relations team with questions or to schedule a phone call. The Employer Relations team’s contact information can be found at the bottom of this newsletter.

Are you attending our Career Fair Series on February 16th, 17th, or 18th to recruit WPI talent? Are you new to Brazen and want to learn some tips and tricks? Do you want a refresher on what Brazen looks like and to learn about some new functionality? We will be reviewing the platform, including how to navigate and update your booth, and sharing best practices for the Career Fair in these sessions. Questions will be welcome after the presentation. Please sign up using this survey. You will receive a link for the Zoom meeting 3-4 days before the event.
Spring Education Programs and Panels for WPI Students
The WPI Career Development Center will be providing several opportunities for you to connect with WPI talent and share industry advice on topics ranging from resumes, elevator pitches, and job offers. To indicate interest in participating in these events, please fill out a form here. We will be finalizing the calendar shortly and a member of the WPI Career Development Center team will reach out with more information and registration links in the coming weeks.
Thanks again for your engagement with WPI during the recent A&B Term. During this unique time, employer engagement and recruiting at WPI could not have been a success without your commitment and interest in both our institution and students. We look forward to seeing you virtually during the spring semester and to the day where we can invite you back to in person events on campus.
