Call for Papers
Engineering Education in a Post-COVID World
The American Society for Engineering Education Northeast Section (ASEE-NE) invites the submission of papers, presentations, and posters for our annual conference hosted by Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) October 21-23, 2021. With most educational institutions in the Northeast requiring COVID vaccination, we are planning on an in-person conference. The conference theme is “Engineering Education in a Post-COVID World” and focuses on the rapidly changing landscape of engineering education and emerging trends.
Abstract submission deadline extended to September 13

Presentation Formats: The conference will feature several different formats:
- Professional Papers: Full papers to be submitted electronically through the online submission system
- Work-in-Progress Papers: Current research and/or implementation that is not yet completed
- Student Papers and Posters: Abstracts of 500 words or less to be submitted electronically
- Lightning Talks: Brief (3-5 minute) presentations on recent results, emerging topics, or best practices
- Workshops and Tutorials: For College Faculty, K-12 Educators, Industry Professionals.
Who should consider submitting:
- College Faculty and Students
- Undergraduate Students: Research papers, research and capstone project posters
- Graduate Students: Research papers, project posters
- K-12 Educators
Proceedings: Papers and posters will be considered for inclusion in Proceedings upon acceptance.
Awards: Best paper and poster awards will be presented, with separate categories for college faculty, undergraduate student and graduate student, and K-12 educator.

September 20, 2021: Notification of abstract acceptance
October 4, 2021: Full Paper drafts due for peer review
October 11, 2021: Notification of paper acceptance, feedback to authors
October 18, 2021: Deadline for early registration discount
October 29, 2021: Final draft due
