Curriculum

This certificate can be pursued on a standalone basis. In addition, WPI graduate students are often able to combine the certificate with other programs with no additional coursework by leveraging their other program's electives.  

The graduate certificate in Artificial Intelligence in Business requires completion of three courses for a total of 9 credits.

Required course:

 

  • MIS 587 Business Applications in Machine Learning (3 credits) 
  • Select one of the following courses: 
  • MIS 520 Artificial Intelligence & Its Ethical Applications in Business (3 credits) 
  • MIS 581 Policy and Strategy for Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Analytics (3 credits) 
  • Select one of the following courses: 
  • MIS 510 Business Application of Blockchain Tech (3 credits) 
  • MKT 562 Marketing Research (3 credits) 
  • MKT 568 Marketing Analytics (3 credits) 
  • OIE 552 Modeling and Optimizing Processes (3 credits)
