Design

Design experiences! What do we mean by this? Programming, asset production, testing and project management are the MEANS of interactive media and games, but the END is an experience. The Design Concentration offers IMGD BA majors an opportunity to deeply engage with the theory and practice of experience engineering. Students will study the essential concepts and methods of human-centered design, behavioral psychology, procedural rhetoric and ethical communications, and apply them to the creation of toys, games and other media, using a variety of analog and digital toolsets.
