Supported Operating Systems

The following operating systems are supported by the IT Department:

Windows




• Windows XP Service Pack 3, all x86 versions


• Windows Vista Service Pack 2, all x86 versions


• Windows 7, all versions x86/x64

Apple




• OS X 10.4 "Tiger"


• OS X 10.5 "Leopard"


• OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard"


• OS X 10.7 "Lion" Is not supported at this time.
  
  

  There are several incompatibilities with WPI software that need to be addressed by the vendors. After those issues have been patched; 10.7 will be reevaluated for support.

  Linux

  
  
  

  Because of the many different distributions availible, Linux is not supported by the CCC at this time. We provide some directions on a as-is basis for certain procedures such as access to the wireless network and VPN. You can find find these links on the right side of this page.
