Map a Network Drive On a Mac


  1. First, navigate to the Go menu and choose Connect To Server:


  2. Next, in the Server Address box, type "smb://shares.wpi.edu/*name of drive*" and click "Connect"


    Tip: If you click the "+" next to the address box it will bookmark this address for you.



  3. In the Password Box, enter your WPI username and password:

    Tip: If you check "Remember this password in my keychain" you will not have to type your password again next time you access the drive




  4. You should now have access to the drive.



    Check the Helpdesk site for more information on mapping drives.
