Humboldt Foundation Transatlantic Cooperation Program (TransCoop)
Through its Transatlantic Cooperation Program (TransCoop), the Humboldt Foundation supports collaborative research among American, Canadian, and German scholars in the humanities, social sciences, economics and law. The grant may be used to finance short-term research visits and travel, organize conferences and workshops, purchase materials and equipment, and to cover the costs of research assistants and printing. Applications should be submitted jointly by at least one German and one U.S. or Canadian scholar. A Ph.D. is required. Funds from the TransCoop Program must be matched with funds from U.S. or Canadian sources.
