Sarah Mahan recently joined the Office of Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OTIE) as a Licensing Associate to assist the OTIE team with the large increase in invention disclosures and the steadily increasing licensing activity. Sarah will be focusing on marketing WPI intellectual property for its commercial viability, expanding the TAN IP evaluation group, assisting with licensing agreement management, working with the NSF I-Corp site program, National Academy of Inventors program, and the Innovation and Start-up Showcases, OTIE initiated events.

For the past 6 years, prior to joining the OTIE team, Sarah managed the Tech Advisors Network (TAN), WPI’s virtual business incubator, focused on filling gaps in early venture development.
