Matt serves as Deputy General Counsel in the Office of General Counsel at WPI. Matt's legal experience has covered a broad range of topics, including litigation, compliance, patent and intellectual property, employment, real estate and operations, and contracting, among others.

 

Prior to joining WPI, Matt was the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Ribbon Communications, Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications software company. He had previously served as Deputy General Counsel of the predecessor company, Sonus Networks, Inc. Matt began his legal career as an Associate Attorney in two leading international law firms, Goodwin Procter LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP.

 

Matt earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and Bachelor of Arts from Bates College.
