LeeAnn LeClerc, CISSP is the Chief Information Security & Technology Officer (CISTO) for Foundational Technology Services (FTS). As WPI’s Chief Information Security & Technology Officer (CISO / CTO), LeeAnn brings a wealth of experience and a strategic vision to fortify WPI against the evolving landscape of cyber threats.
Working closely with Senior Leadership and the WPI community she is an advocate for the Institution's total information security and Technology needs and is responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive information security and infrastructure strategy to optimize the security posture of the university. The CISTO leads the development and implementation of a security program that leverages collaborations and campus-wide resources, facilitates information security governance, advises senior leadership on security direction and resource investments, and designs appropriate policies and processes to manage information security risk.
LeeAnn is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected and supports the WPI mission by providing high quality IT services to meet the current and future information technology requirements of students, faculty, and staff.
A seasoned cybersecurity professional with a career spanning more than 20 years in Information Technology including networking, infrastructure and cybersecurity, Leeann has dedicated her expertise to the art and science of securing information in the digital age. With a rich background in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance, LeeAnn and her team are the foundation in the defense against cyber adversaries.
