Captain Brendan Green started his career as a police officer with the Framingham State University Police Department in 2008.  He was hired at WPI in 2012 as a Part-Time Police Officer. In 2013, he was hired as a full-time Sergeant where he was  assigned to the midnight shift.  In 2017, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was assigned patrol and administrative duties. In 2024, he was promoted to the rank of Captain.  Captain Green is currently the Clery Compliance Officer for WPI managing the Annual Security Report and collection of crime and fire statistics.  Captain Green currently manages the department's Accreditation compliance, criminal investigations and serves as the police liaison between the Worcester County District Attorney's Office and Worcester Trial Court.  Captain Green is originally from Worcester, MA and currently resides in Central MA.
