I began my career in higher ed at a small college working in career services and then spent 15 years at Becker College as an adjunct professor teaching in the Division of Humanities. While there, I worked cross-functionally through various grant-funded positions including co-creating a Student Success Center, Head Softball coach for 5 years, curriculum development team, residence life and tutoring and Academic Advising. More recently I was the Academic Program Manager at an institution that offered the opportunity for international students to come to the US, gain marketable skills and enter the workforce. There I managed a campus of 100 students and 10 faculty and focused my efforts on strategic planning, retention, student success and committee work. I am currently an adjunct at QCC, where I have contributed to the overhaul of the developmental English curriculum leading to a conference presentation in Baltimore on the grant-based study that resulted in drastically raising retention and pass-rates in the course sequence. I have joined the CS department here at WPI in hope of supporting undergraduate, graduate students and faculty using a developmental advising approach. My focus will be coordinating, developing, implementing, and overseeing new policies and procedures for streamlining advising at the departmental level by creating best practices and focusing on student success and data-driven decision-making.

I am also the CS Department's BS/MS Coordinator, the MQP Coordinator, member of the Undergraduate Committee, Student Support Network, the Title IX Judicial Board and Campus Security Authority (CSA).

I have a BA from Worcester State University in English & Writing, a M.A.Ed. from the University of Phoenix in Curriculum & Instruction, and an Ed.D. (A.B.D.) from the University of Phoenix in Educational Leadership and Policy.  Places I’ve lived: Massachusetts, London, England, and Texas.  Ask me about: Family, Music, My dog Bella, Technology & Society, Educational Equity, ML Baseball, college Softball and Manchester United!
