I am a PhD student in the physics department working in Dr. McCarthy's Lab. I work as a research and teaching assistant here in the physics department. My work centers on radiation detection using semiconductors. Currently, this work is being done with medical imaging in mind, but in the future I hope to also work with plasma and other applications.
