I am a PhD student working under Professor Doug Petkie where we are developing WPI's integrated photonics design, testing, and characterization capabilities. Our primary projects involve developing microring resonators or "microcombs" for DOD applications and working with our collaborators at AIM to develop a visible light silicon nitride platform. I was awarded both an AFRL scholars internship with the U.S. Space Force at Kirkland AFB and the DOD SMART fellowship at DTRA in 2022. I enjoy working with U.S. service men and women developing new technologies to keep them and the U.S. as a whole a safer place. I also usually mentor 1-2 MQP or undergrad studnet each academic year.
