Engineers on the Go

February brings National Engineers Week and school vacation, the perfect time to introduce your future scientist or engineer to STEM in a fun and interactive way! Students will learn about the engineering design process from WPI Engineering Ambassadors, and then take part in hands-on activities led by WPI graduate and undergraduate students. Throughout the morning, students will gain a better understanding of what engineers do and how it impacts the real world. They will leave with the confidence to explore new opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics!

Middle School STEM Experiences (Virtual & In-Person)

Middle school STEM Experience offers opportunities for students to explore different topics in STEM through a 15-minute presentation and 45-minute hands-on activity led by WPI Engineering Ambassadors. The Engineering Ambassadors will highlight a topic in STEM and provide enough detail in the presentation for the students to be successful in their hands-on activity—no prior experience related to the topic is required. Engineering Ambassadors are excited to share their enthusiasm for STEM with your students! To request a date for a session or to have someone in our office contact you to discuss this opportunity further, please fill out this request form. For more information, please contact the Office of Pre-Collegiate Outreach Programs by email at pop@wpi.edu or by phone at 508-831-4900.
