For the sixth time, WPI will hold a silent auction to benefit the United Way Campaign on Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in the Campus Center Hagglund Room, and your creative donations are needed!
Crafters, artists, entrepreneurs, and more are wanted:
- Knitters, beaders, painters, photographers, carvers – please consider creating something special for this important fundraiser.
- Not that creative? Consider donating an unused gift or purchasing a gift card or other item that can be auctioned off.
- Know a business owner who might be willing to offer a product or service? Ask them for a donation. (A letter can be provided if needed).
No matter what you can donate, be sure to visit the auction and bid on goods and services! A current sampling of donations include a California Closets Gift Certificate valued at $1000, Invisalign discount valued at $1000, YMCA Greendale 3-month family membership valued at $415, Food Court 5-day meal pass, Celtics tickets, WPI Sports Camp, gift cards, hand-made scarves, jewelry, and artwork.
All donations will be on display before the event in the Bartlett Center.
Please direct your items to Paulette Tatro in the Bartlett Center. Contact Liz Tomaszewski (ltomasz@wpi.edu) or Peg Caisse (macaisse@wpi.edu) with questions or donations.
