• One of WPI’s summer treats – live music and free ice cream – returned on Wednesday, with the kick-off performance of this year’s Summer Breeze Lunch Hour Concert Series. The series will continue every week through August, from noon to 1 p.m. behind the Rubin Campus Center on the Burt Terrace.
Wednesday, under a sun-drenched sky, the Maine trio Coos Canyon rocked a full-house patio audience with their inspired renditions of classic rock and oldies. Here, they perform the Doobie Brothers’ hit, Long Train Running. The series, sponsored by the Campus Center and Student Activities Department, features a barbecue lunch, music, and a variety of free dessert items (courtesy of Chartwells).
