Students and alumni from all degrees and disciplines who are interested in seeking a full-time job, internship, or co-op are encouraged to attend WPI’s annual Spring Career Fair, which will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Sports & Recreation Center.

Sponsored by the Career Development Center (CDC), the Spring Career Fair will welcome over 190 employers, making it the biggest Spring Fair yet. Employers of all sizes and industries will be in attendance, including management consulting, manufacturing, biotech and life sciences, medical devices, research, utilities and renewable energies, and nonprofits.

“Many of our employer partners from past years have returned to recruit WPI talent at this event,” says Allyson Bernard, senior recruiting coordinator at the CDC. United Technologies Corp. (UTC) will be present as one of the CDC’s Platinum Sponsors, and Consigli Construction Co. and Averica Discovery Sciences will also be in attendance.

Over 1,500 students and alumni are expected to visit the fair. In addition to providing several resources and tipsheets to help them prepare, the CDC will also host a Corporate Interview Panel today, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. in Higgins Labs 116. Comprising representatives from Catalant Tech, idTech, ArcBest, Staples, and UTC, the panel will provide students with advice on interviewing and other career topics. Additionally, students can have their resume and/or elevator pitch critiqued by a CDC staff member during drop-in hours, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For more information on the Career Fair, including a full list of companies currently registered to attend, students can log into their Handshake accounts.

Students and alumni can register at the CDC today, or tomorrow at the event itself.
